  • What time is check-in?

Check in from 1400hrs – 2000hrs.

  • What if I will arrive after 2000hrs?

We ask that you contact us on 01463 235877 to let us know an approximate arrive time.

  • What if I want to check in earlier?

We are not able to offer a check-in time any earlier than 1400hrs. You can however drop your luggage off with us at any time on your day of check-in.

  • What time is check-out?

Check-out by 1100hrs.

  • What if I want to check-out later?

We may be able to offer an extra 1 hour (check-out by 12noon /1200hrs) for a charge of £10 – advanced booking is required and subject to availability. We are unable to provide a check-out time later than 12 noon / 1200 hrs.

  • Is parking available at the hotel?

Yes, free parking is available in the car park in front of the hotel.

  • Do you offer free wi-fi?

Yes, we have free wi-fi available throughout the hotel for all our guests.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Yes, we permit dogs in the Hotel and there is no additional charge for your dog to stay in your room with you. We do as that you let us know in advance if your dog is coming with you.

  • Can I walk to the hotel from the City Centre?

Yes, the Heathmount is around a 10-minute walk from the City Centre. 15 minutes from Inverness Train Station and Inverness Bus Station.

  • How can I change or cancel my reservation?

If you have made your reservation direct with us then to change or cancel your reservation please email –

Please note if you have booked a non-refundable rate then we are unable to refund your booking (see terms and conditions of booking for more information).

If you have made your booking through a third party (e.g. then any changes or cancellations must be made direct with them.

  • Where can I see the booking conditions?

You can see our terms and conditions here. You will also receive a copy of our terms and conditions with any booking confirmation when a reservation is made direct with us

  • Can I book in without my booking reference/booking confirmation?

Yes, if you have made a booking it is possible to check in without this information by stating the name your booking has been made under.

  • Do you provide rooms with wheelchair access?

No, unfortunately due to the layout of the hotel we are unable to offer rooms with wheelchair access.

  • Do you have rooms on the ground floor?

No, all our guest bedrooms are located on the 1st or 2nd floors. Please note that the constraints of our listed status mean that we do not offer lift/elevator facilities. Our Bar and Restaurant is located on the ground floor.

  • Is there a lift/elevator in the Hotel?

No, the constraints of our listed status mean that we do not offer lift/elevator facilities.

  • How many stairs are there to reach the bedrooms?

First floor – 2 x 12 steps / Second floor – 4 x 12 steps

  • Do you offer quiet rooms?

Our rooms are located above our busy bar and restaurant, so some noise may be heard in the rooms.

  • What size are your bedrooms?

All our bedrooms are unique. You can find out more about each of our bedrooms and view photographs here.

  • Is the Hotel non-smoking?

Yes, smoking is not permitted anywhere within the building. We do have a designated smoking area on our Terrace outside.

  • What time does the restaurant open?

  • Do I need to make a reservation in the restaurant?

Our restaurant can get very busy, so we do recommend that reservations are made.

  • Do you cater for special diets in the restaurant?

Yes, our chefs will always endeavor to cater for special diets, but we do ask that you let us know in advance to make sure we can give you the best dining experience.

  • Can I eat in the restaurant even if I am not a guest staying in the Hotel?

Yes, our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner to all. Reservations are recommended.

Book Your Table

The maximum number per table that can be booked online is 8 people. For tables of 9 or more people please email us – Please note that following recent feedback from customers we no longer accept table bookings for 9 or more people from 5pm on Saturdays.

Please note - bookings are for tables in our inside restaurant area. We do not accept bookings for tables for drinks only, and we do not reserve tables on the terrace; these tables are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are sorry that we do not permit dogs in our main restaurant area. Dogs are welcome in our lounge / bar / terrace areas.

We ask when prompted that you confirm or cancel your table, if no longer required, when you receive your reminder text/email message.

For on-the-day (within 24 hours) restaurant bookings, please call 01463 235877 to check availability and make a booking.
